Since winning the Silver Medal the Tchaikovsky Competition in Russia, Canadian pianist Andr? Laplante has firmly established himself as one of the great romantic virtuosos. Honored in 2005 as an Officer of the Order of Canada, he plays a wide-ranging repertoire with burning intensity.
