Violinist Carmit Zori was the first prizewinner of the Walter W. Naumburg Violin Competition in 1984. The Los Angeles Times says of her playing,
Carmit Zori scored a brilliant triumph with her intellectually rigourous yet vibrant musical personality.
Program to include works by Dvorak, Prokofiev and Schumann. Andrew Mark and Irina Muresanu, artistic directors.
