What were composers downloading in the 15th/16th cs? Convivium's winter concert explores how the era’s most ingenious musicians sampled and transformed popular pieces. The program includes works by Ockeghem, Josquin, Arcadelt, Vecchi, Senfl, and Palestrina and features Josquin’s reworking of his own Missa L'homme armé as well as others’ masterful take-offs on his perennially popular Ave Maria.
