    Musicians of the Old Post Road present: Hidden Treasures of the German Baroque

    Rarely heard works by Janitsch, Hasse, Graupner, and Heinichen. Featuring the unusual sonorities of the baroque bassoon and chalumeau (ancestor of the clarinet). With Suzanne Stumpf, traverso, Sarah Darling, violin, Marilyn Boenau, bassoon, Owen Watkins, chalumeau, Daniel Ryan, cello, and Michael Bahmann, harpsichord. Musicians will talk about their unusual instruments during the concert.
