The Kaleidoscope Chamber Ensemble will engage you with another colorful concert at Kerem Shalom in Concord, MA.

Concord, MA – JANUARY 2011 – The Kaleidoscope Chamber Ensemble presents a Chamber Music Concert on Saturday, January 15th at 7:30 p.m. The Program includes chamber music by American composer Katherine Hoover, English composer Gordon Jacob and French composers Camille Saint-Saëns and Darius Milhaud.
The Kaleidoscope Chamber Ensemble formed in 1996 by musicians with a wealth of chamber music experiences. Kaleidoscope committed itself from the beginning to presenting a wide musical repertory, diverse in style. The number of instruments is constantly changing, even within a single concert. A program may include Chamber works with as few as two players, as well as larger works of up to six or more performers, including string players, wind players and a pianist. Kaleidoscope's broad repertoire ranges from works of the Baroque era to the most recent 21st century compositions.
Kaleidoscope has appeared widely in concert throughout the New England area. The group served as Artists in Residence at the Mill Pond Center for the Arts in Durham, New Hampshire from 1997-2000. Their most recent tour took them to the Midwest and the Rocky River Chamber Music Series in the fall of 2006. After their Cleveland concert, the Cleveland Plain Dealer opined that the performance was "kaleidoscopic in shading and expressive nuance."
