    Arriving mysteriously in New York City in 2005 with nothing but a suitcase full of sepia-toned memories and a short list of semi-lucid musicians in the hip pocket of her homemade skirt, alice. directed her near-psychotic obsession to find something new into the founding of what has come to be known as the elastic.hybrid.chamber.pop. movement. Calling in a lifetime's worth of favors and rewriting the concept of Machiavellian coercion in the process, she assembled a mighty ensemble of people that were united in musical vision and inherent fear of saying no. Bringing a unique voice to a unique genre, alice. seeks to continually defy the boundaries of form, harmony, group improvisation, genre, and competitive performance art, delighting her multi-generational audiences with distinctive and memorable original compositions mixed with covers ranging from Beethoven to Spinal Tap. Truly, hers is a voice as extraordinary as it is assertive.
