The Friends of Mount Auburn and the Longfellow National Historic Site invite you to join us in Story Chapel for our annual Henry Wadsworth Longfellow birthday celebration. This year’s program will highlight the very close friendship between Longfellow and Charles Sumner. Sumner, a lawyer, abolitionist and U.S. Senator was born 200 years ago this year. Additional details about this event will be announced as the program nears.
