Beatshop Electronic Music Workshop

BeatShop is a first of its kind music program for musicians in the Boston area who want to explore the technology side of music through the use of our brand new lab facility and studio with instruction by software specialist and producer Korin, an alumnus of Berklee College of Music's Electronic Production and Design department, songwriter and producer Noah Frank, an alum of the Contemporary Production and Writing department. The cost of the first session is FREE dollars.
We will cover topics such as: sequencing, MIDI, synthesizer programming, drum programming, sampling, equalization, compression, delay, reverb etc., song structure, mixing, basic signal flow, and recording audio, in particular, vocal production. There will also be events, activities, field trips and special guests, artists and producers from studios around the Boston area and beyond. During the final weeks we will design and master our own CDs for digital distribution via the web and study different internet marketing techniques.
