Commiserate and celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Coolidge Corner Theatre with Mortified’s Doomed Valentine’s Show. From starter girlfriends and high-school crushes, to tumultuous off-and-on romances and adolescent firsts, the show relives teen angst with cringe-worthy material about juvenile ardor gone wrong (did it ever go right?). Hailed as a "cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek, Mortified is a comic excavation of the strange and extraordinary things we created as kids. Come watch ordinary adults as they share their most hilariously embarrassing adolescent journals, letters, poems, lyrics, plays, home movies, and art. Ah, the pain, the awkwardness, the necking, the groping – this one is not to be missed.
