Tiger Saw is an ever-changing collective from Newburyport, MA. They have explored and perfected a beautiful, hushed, slowcore indie sound - one that is sure to have audiences closing their eyes and swaying to the music. Members of Dirty Projectors and Deer Tick collaborated with Tiger Saw on their latest album, and Tiger Saw has shared the stage with Grizzly Bear and Explosions in the Sky. The band is for fans of film and literature as well, having contributed original scores to Nosferatu and The Adventures of Prince Achmed and having published a book that outlines the band’s history. Tiger Saw has performed at unorthodox venues from beach bonfires to treetop sing-alongs, all for their love of sharing an intimate connection with the audience.

Boston native, The Acre, grew from its singer-songwriter roots at Open Mics and emerged as the full band that performs at large venues today. They promise a dynamic performance - ranging from blissful folk elements to heavy rock segments that leap out and take the audience by surprise. “The vocals are always able to float on top of the music, and all the instrumentation just seems in perfect balance with one another,” says Boston Band Crush. Any fan of Wilco or The Band should flock to see The Acre.

Also Boston-based, Dan Baker integrates the best aspects of country and folk music into his songwriting. He intricately blends the simplicity and honesty of his words to bring forth powerful stories. “Baker is a smart and insightful singer, who thinks deeply and writes intelligently about the curious thoughts spinning ‘round his head,” say Indie-Music.com. The influence of Bob Dylan and Tom Waits is readily apparent in his songs. He has collaborated with some of Nashville’s best musicians, including Jeff Taylor (Elvis Costello), Joe Spivey (Shania Twain, Faith Hill), and Steve Hinson (George Jones).
