Alan Ayckbourn's MY WONDERFUL DAY
March 4 - March 26, 2011
Nine year-old Winnie is sick from school for the day, but has an essay to write about My Wonderful Day. What better opportunity than quietly seated unnoticed in a corner, while her pregnant, housekeeper mother busies herself cleaning the home of a minor television celebrity? When her Mother's water breaks, Winnie's left in the house alone with the celebrity, his mistress, his wife and his best friend, discovering a wealth of material for her essay. The bizarre and increasingly frenetic comings and goings of adults in the weird household in which she finds herself captive fuels an essay that shocks her mother, but provides endless entertainment for the audience along the way.
