Professor and Adjunct Curator James Oles discusses how contemporary artists have used Mexico City as both medium and message as part of Art 237, Mexican Art and Architecture from the Conquest to Today, followed by a tour of the exhibition Francis Alÿs: The Moment Where Sculpture Happens.
DAVIS MUSEUM
One of the oldest and most acclaimed academic fine arts museums in the United States, the Davis Museum and Cultural Center is a vital force in the intellectual, pedagogical, and social life of Wellesley College. Its mission is to create an environment that encourages visual literacy, inspires new ideas, and fosters involvement with the arts in the academy and in life.

Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesday until 8:00pm
Sunday, 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Closed Monday and holidays
