The 2011 spring semester is kicking-off with the largest annual overview of current work by SMFA students. Featuring diverse works by 75 artists, including award-winning creations alongside other exceptional pieces that were juried in, this exhibition celebrates artists who are on the threshold of their creative futures. Join us for the opening reception February 10, 5–7 pm.

Special event: Boston Composers Collective Concert, March 1, 6 pm. Set against the backdrop of SMFA’s “Student Annual Exhibition,” this concert features nine world premieres of new classical music in a variety of instrumentation including pieces for string quartet, woodwind duo and voice, created by local student composers.
