Walter Gropius, founder of the German design school known as the Bauhaus, was one of the most influential architects of the twentieth century. The 1938 home of this architect and teacher showcases the clean, contemporary lines of Modernist design. During this evening slide show and house tour, see how Gropius’s innovative lighting scheme comes to life at night. Light refreshments.

    Registration required.
