“We’re part of a long train ride,” is the way Peter Yarrow visualizes the many events that have highlighted a career spanning more than four decades. Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary fame is best known for his vocal contributions to the group, but his songwriting helped to create some of PP&M’s most famous songs including Puff, the Magic Dragon, Day is Done, and Light One Candle. He has performed on over 61 albums and on countless stages over the past 50 years. Peter intertwines humor and musical prowess into songs that touch the heart, raise awareness of social issues, and bring laughter to those all those who sing along with him.
