Summer Stage 2011: Shakespeare Unbound
July 5-July 15, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Aliesha is trying to carry Shakespeare’s huge book of plays, but it’s way too heavy! She tears out some pages, throws them in a trash can, and before she can say “Bard,” the characters materialize from the trash can, raising havoc in this rollicking “comedy of errors”! Student actors will work as an ensemble exploring Shakespeare’s most popular plays (including Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Taming of the Shrew), rehearsing, developing characters, and creating scenery. The program will culminate in a final presentation for family and friends. Open to students who have completed grades 3-5 by July 2011. Pre-registration required.
