    The Red Room at Cafe 939, Boston’s premiere all-ages venue, is pleased to invite NY Times Bestselling author and NPR music reviewer Steve Almond. Almond will hit the stage at 8 p.m. to dazzle the Berklee community with a multimedia presentation of his book, Rock and Roll Will Save Your Life. Weaving in music, graphics, and humor, Almond will offer profound insights into the power of music. Aimee Mann commends the book, saying it’s “required reading for all us fans and musicians who belong to the Church of Rock and Roll.” The second act will feature a Berklee student band, selected by Almond in a campus-wide contest.

    This show is being presented by Fusion Magazine, Berklee’s publication for literature, music, and ideas.
