Boston University's Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program in conjunction with the Graduate Consortium in Women’s Studies Film Festival presents Women Take the Reel: a screening of Catherine Hardwicke's [Twilight] Thirteen staring Evan Rachel Wood and Nikki Reed. BU’s Barbara Gottfried, Director of the Program will give a brief introduction followed by a discussion of the film on March 23 featuring Kathleen Rowe Karlyn, author of Unruly Girls, Unrepentant Mothers: Redefining Feminism on Screen.
