    IN THE STREETS PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS

PROVE IT ALL NIGHT: QUEERS DO THE BOSS

In the Streets Productions is proud to present Prove It All Night: Queers Do the Boss, a cabaret celebrating the music of Bruce Springsteen from a decidedly twisted perspective, Saturday, March 26 at Club Cafe. From Bruce the icon of American masculinity to Bruce the outlaw to Bruce the sensitive storyteller, performers will explore all facets of the Boss via drag, burlesque, dance, and literature.

Performers will include badass burlesque and cabaret troupe Bitches of Destiny, Femme Show artists Gigi Frost, Rachel Kahn and Alana Kumbier, SYSTER ACT’s Tam Wiley on the mandolin, writer, artist activist and go-go dancer Leslie Freeman, rope bondage artist Aporia, and more.

Prove It All Night celebrates the release of a new ‘zine from Alana Kumbier, "Because The Boss Belongs to Us: Queer Femmes on Bruce Springsteen." The 'zine is a compilation of short essays, sexy rambles, prose pieces, and critical engagements with Springsteen's music and persona, by queer femmes from across the U.S. (and Sweden!).

In the Streets Productions has been bringing Boston cutting-edge performance and gender commentary via the Femme Show since 2007 and is delighted to offer audiences this one-of-a-kind show.

Prove It All Night plays Saturday, March 26 at Club Cafe at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 7 PM. Tickets include a copy of the ‘zine and will be available for $10 at the door.
