    A show displaying the works of Team Massachusetts over their year and a half long journey towards designing and building the completely solar-powered 4D home.

    Team Massachusetts is one of 20 teams from across the globe competing in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2011, which will take place on the National Mall in Washington DC this fall. The team is made up of students from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Sustaining Time tells the story of about 30 students from a multitude of disciplines in their process of designing and building a 1,000 square foot house, completely powered by the sun and their journey to win the next Solar Decathlon. Visitors can learn about the solar technologies and sustainable features used in the 4D home, view models, furniture prototypes and other works by MassArt students to be displayed in the house.
