The Boston Jewish Film Festival and The Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston Present: An Evening With Marc Platt, Acclaimed Film, Theater, and Television Producer and Jewish Community Leader Marc Platt's talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a dessert reception. Marc Platt stands among the few producers who have successfully bridged the worlds of theatre, film, and television. His award-winning productions include the Broadway musical "Wicked", the films "Legally Blonde", "Rachel Getting Married", "Nine", and "Wanted", and the television miniseries "Empire Falls". Prior to establishing his production company, Marc Platt served as president of production for three movie studios (Orion, TriStar, and Universal), where his its included "Philadelphia", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Silence of the Lambs", and "Jerry Maguire".
