In honor of Women’s History Month, join us at Concord’s Old Manse for a series of programs on the women of the Manse. Meet the ladies of the 19th century who lived, worked and visited the Manse throughout Concord’s two revolutions: the political and the literary. Women’s History Margaret Fuller at the Manse, Friday March 25, 7 pm, and Sunday March 27, 2 pm. Margaret Fuller (1810-1850) was an author, intellectual and friend to Ralph Waldo Emerson and Nathaniel Hawthorne. She visited Hawthorne and his wife, Sophia, at the Manse at a pivotal point in her life.
