    An exploration of the intersection of music and politics under the Stuart monarchy, presented as a fundraiser for the upcoming masque Cupid & Death. Alastair Thompson will illustrate a condensed history of 17th-century England with musical, poetical, and culinary examples. Members of the cast of Cupid & Death will perform. Appetizers devised by Dan Meyers and Matthew Stein. In Margaret Jewett Hall in First Church Cambridge (11 Garden St.) in Harvard Square.
