A Vacation Week Family Program at the Jackson Homestead and Museum. Did you know that Ellen Jackson, who lived at the Homestead in the 1800s, was an artist? She painted beautiful flowers, many of which grew right on the property. In this fun springtime program, we will look at some of Ellen’s original watercolors, then head out in the backyard to plant some wildflowers for the summer. Back inside, we will make paper flowers to create our own summer garden. Cost: $15 per family ($10 for members) includes museum admission, snack, and materials. Prepaid registration is required, limit 25; call 617.796.1450 to register.
