    Brian Collins, chief creative officer, and Leland Maschmeyer, creative director, of Collins:, will present a talk about the history of “common space” and reinventing corporate branding in a way that incorporates various stakeholders.

    Collins: is an innovation-led, brand building agency located in New York City that creates engaging communications, experiences, environments, products and digital interactions that transform and strengthen the relationships between organizations, brands, and people.

    Prior to starting the firm, Brian Collins was chairman and chief creative officer of the Brand Integration Group (BIG) at Ogilvy & Mather. His clients have included Coca-Cola, CNN, Levi Strauss & Co., American Express, Motorola, Mattel, IBM, Amazon.com, MTV, Hershey’s and The Alliance for Climate Protection. Collins is a Distinguished Alumnus of Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He is vice president of The Art Directors Club of New York and is on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts in New York. He received an Honorary Doctorate from the Art Center College of Design in 2008. He speaks globally on design and innovation including at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and is a member of the Forum’s Global Agenda Council.
    Leland Maschmeyer is the creative director at Collins: and a professor at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Maschemeyer has received numerous awards, including the Type Directors Club TDC57 Award: Excellence in Typography, Communication Arts Design Annual selection, and the Jay Chiat Gold for brand experience. His clients have included NASDAQ, Travelocity, and Virgin Atlantic.
