Lydia Chen, Associate Director of Fairbanks Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard, and painter, Zhangping discuss the artist’s work, experience and current Artist Residency Project, the Big Women Series which will compare the female experience in China and the United States through Painting. Ms. Chen holds her MA in Asian Studies and MJ in journalism from the University of California at Berkeley where she produced a short video documentary titled: Inner Visions: Avant-Garde Art in China.
