    The concert presents South African songs and dances, traditional sacred and secular music from Caucasus Georgia and Bulgaria, American shape-note and English west gallery songs, and modern settings of the text of the Bill of Rights. Now in its sixth season, the tone of the 50 singers shifts radically across the program: from the dark and sonorous Georgian timbre to the ultra-bright Bulgarian hard-voice, from straight-ahead shape note singing to the rich and mellifluous South African sound.
