MassArt's 22nd Annual Benefit Art Auction

Massachusetts College of Art and Design presents its twenty-second Annual Benefit Art Auction, showcasing some of the world’s most well respected artists and introducing emerging artists embarking on successful careers. Over the course of its history, the auction has helped MassArt to remain on the forefront of art and design education by raising millions of dollars in support of scholarships and financial aid, faculty fellowships, and visual arts programs for inner-city youth and other Boston-area residents. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the live auction beginning at 8:00 p.m., in the college’s Bakalar and Paine Galleries.

Among the nationally and internationally known artists, emerging artists, MassArt alumni, faculty, and students represented in this year’s auction are: Andy Warhol, William Kentridge, Chuck Close, Julian Opie, Jack Pierson '84, Judy McKie, Jenny Holzer, Chris Gustin, Nicole Chesney ‘97, TRIIIBE and William Wegman ‘65.

    Tickets:

    Tickets are $175 per person (prior to the event), includes ticket to Auction and Preview Reception on March 30, 2011. $200 per person (at the door of the event).
    
    Public Preview Days: March 31–April 7 (10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), free and open to the public.
