Pop, R&B and folk are transformed by close jazz harmonies, rhythms and style into a fresh Manhattan Transfer-like sound when Syncopation takes the stage. 4 jazz vocalists joined by 3 musicians = a sizzling good time. Featuring: Aubrey Johnson, Christine Fawson, David Thorne Scott, Tsunenori “Lee” Abe. Part of BerkleeJAZZ faculty series at the Arsenal Center. A local favorite, Syncopation wowed the Esplanade crowd when it appeared with the Boston Pops at the 2009 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.
