Miles For Hope, Inc. will hold its second annual Moving Towards a Cure® Brain Tumor 5K Awareness Walk/Run on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10 am at Artesani Park in Brighton, MA. Over 300 supporters are expected to participate. Proceeds will fund brain tumor research and provide travel assistance to brain tumor patients. The event is open to all ages. Same-day registration is at 9 am, event begins at 10 am. Registration is $20 registration fee for adults until May 1, $25 after May 1. Registration is free for children under 5 years. Participants can walk/run individually or form a team. Post-event celebration to follow the race and includes an award presentation, remembering those battling brain tumor disease as well as those who lost their battle. Artesani Park is located at 1234 Soldiers Field Road, Brighton, MA. Parking available on site for all supporters.
