    Humorist Jimmy Tingle is the main act in this fundraiser for First Church in Boston (Unitarian Universalist, 66 Marlborough Street). Music by the Harvard LowKeys, a co-ed a cappella singing group. Event starts at 6:30 with free hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. The performance begins at 8:00 pm. An auction includes: dinner at fine local restaurants, signed books by prize-winning poets Fred Marchant, Kathleen Spivack, Richard Hoffman and others; a one-hour therapeutic massage; a stay in a Cape Cod cottage, and a private concert from acclaimed mezzo-soprano Katarzyna Sadej & pianist Mark McNeill.

          I haven't seen Jimmy Tingle in person since he closed his theater in Davis Square, Somerville (it is missed--saw some great shows there). J.T's "Education of an American Comic"--saw it at a club in... Expand
