    Sunday Strolls: Shawsheen Village

    Come enjoy the warm weather and join guides from the Andover Historical Society for a walking tours of historic Andover. Learn about the history of architecture, people, and the area as you enjoy a scenic tour of Andover. All tours are free to members of the Andover Historical Society, and $5 for non-members. Call in advance to reserve your place. Sunday May 1st, 1 p.m. Shawsheen Village and William Wood Join historian Donald Robb for a walking tour of Shawsheen Village. Learn about the life of famous Andover resident William Wood and the history of Shawsheen Village. Have you ever wondered why Shawsheen Village has “White Shawsheen” and “Brick Shawsheen”? Every house has a history, come learn about Andover’s rich past. The tour will meet in the parking lot of the Brickstone building (305 North Main Street, Andover, MA)
