DanceWorks Boston, one of the city’s largest performance-based dance organizations, is back this June and ready to entertain audiences with their 2nd Annual DanceWorks Boston Project. Held in the heart of the city at the Boston University Dance Theater, the show is a jam-packed hour long production featuring 12 original choreographed works that will premiere June 2 and 3. The production blends high-energy hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary styles to orchestrate a dynamic show that both critics and fans can appreciate.
DanceWorks Boston, a collective of more than 45 young adults, provides an outlet for high-caliber choreographers and dancers to come together to share their passion for performance. Collaborating with professional local artists, including Unyted Stylz, Kinetic Synergy Dance Company and repertory groups from the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, the DanceWorks Boston Project is anything but a typical dance recital.
