The Misery Play is a surreal, dark comedy exploring what it is like to go through life when your name is Misery. Funny and touching at the same time, this original story is full of puppet vignettes, French cafes, paper airplanes and countless suicide attempts that only resolve in epic failure.

Lialia Chepulite is an award winning playwright and founding member of This & That Theatre Group. Her visionary work is tailored for physical and performance art theatre, which gives both director and actors an environment for improvisation and interpretation. Now based as a working playwright and director in NYC, Lialia is an active member of playwriting group "Playsmiths"
