In this performance, the Academy puts its effervescence in the service of an exquisite all-Beethoven program. Superstar violinist Joshua Bell brings his breathtaking virtuosity and sumptuous tone to Beethoven's D Major violin concerto, and leads the balance of the program from the concertmaster?s chair.
