In its annual Opera Project, Juventas presents the world premiere of Light & Power by composer Isaac Schankler and librettist Jillian Burcar. The libretto tells the story of the competitive relationship between the scientists Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) and Thomas Edison (1847-1931), which resulted in the adoption of alternating current as the worldwide electrical standard.
