What's Inside? What's Outside?: ICA Play Date

Enjoy family music and games on the Grandstand, then under the guidance of visiting children's book author and artist Giles LaRoche, create a cut-paper mural of Boston in the Bank of America Art Lab! GIles LaRoche will also host a presentation in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater.

Writer and illustrator of What's Inside? Fascinating Structures Around the World, (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), Giles LaRoche uses a unique "paper relief" technique to create elaborate collages for children's book illustrations. Every illustration involves drawing, cutting, painting, and gluing. LaRoche's books will be availble for sale in the ICA Store.
