Miriam Latimer is one of Barefoot's most prolific children's book illustrators, with five titles to her name and more in the pipeline. Bestsellers The Prince's Bedtime and Shopping with Dad are excellent examples of her quirky, colorful art.

Ms. Latimer is sharing not only a light lunch, but the stand-out tales, tips and triumphs of her craft: children's book illustrations. "I spend a lot of time daydreaming, thinking of ideas -- that's the easy bit, calming the ideas down and putting them in a readable format is the hard part."
