Great American songs would be nothing without the iconic artists who perform them. This series of concerts pays tribute to some of these American icons. The June 3 and 4 concerts celebrate the sounds of Motown's biggest hits with Ellis Hall, viruoso multi-instrumentalist and former lead singer of the R&B, funk/soul band Tower of Power, and include pieces of George Gershwin and Duke Ellington, and a performance by Pops cellist Mihail Jojatu.
