The Little Sisters of Hoboken are ready for their close-up when Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston presents “Nunset Boulevard: The Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show.”

In this seventh heavenly creation by “Nunsense” writer and director Dan Goggin, the quintet of irrepressible singing and dancing nuns have been invited to perform at the Hollywood Bowl. They are thrilled at the prospect until they arrive and realize that they are booked into the Hollywood Bowl-a-Rama, a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge!

Undaunted, they know the show must go on. They knock out boffo musical numbers while customers knock down brewskies and pins.

Then to their great surprise and delight, they discover that a new movie musical about the life of actress-turned-nun Delores Hart is holding auditions across the street. Of course, they consider themselves naturals. ‘NUNSET BOULEVARD: A SONG FROM THE HART” is right up their alley!

By the end of the show the Little Sisters of Hoboken have proved the old adage to be true: They ARE big, it’s the movies that have gotten small!
