The Slava Chorale performs at Old South Church

BOSTON, MA –The Slava Chorale will perform Friday, June 17, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at the Old South Church’s Gordon Chapel, Copley Square, Boston.
Named after the Russian word for glory, The Slava Chorale is a professional group of eight singers who capture the glorious, dynamic and ethereal music from the Russian Orthodox Church, Slavonic music, and folk music of Eastern Europe. Some composers represented will be Chesnokov, Tchaikovsky, Archangelsky, Kastalsky, and Guzasky.

The Old South Church is located at 645 Boylston St., Boston, MA, and is handicap accessible. Reservations are $18 Adults, $16 Seniors and Students, prepaid; ($20/$18 at the door).
