How to capture and define the Sagapool sound: Nu-Jazz, Jam Band, Acoustic. Joyful and cinematographic music; an idiosyncratic sound that wraps gypsy swing, jazz and klezmer in with touches of ska, Latin and folk rhythms. This is music at an intersection of exuberant creativity and blazing virtuosity composed by each of the musicians on stage. Sagapool won Best Instrumental album at the 2008 Canadian Folk Music Award.
