We enter our second year in a multi-year survey of the chamber and vocal works of Beethoven. Among the many treasures of his early and middle periods will be the seldom-heard WoO36 Piano Quartets, the charming and virtuosic Sextet for Two Horns and String Quartet, as well as the poignant lyricism of Beethoven lieder.
