Opening of the Wading and Spray Pool – FREE

Families, children and guests are invited to kick off the 2011 summer season with a wonderful day celebrating the grand opening of the wading and spray pool at the Boston Common Frog Pond. This day will be filled with storytelling, facepainting, a special visit from the official mascot Frog Pond Freddie, and various other family friendly activities to signal the opening of Boston’s favorite summer destination for keeping cool. The pool will remain open everyday from 11am-6pm until Labor Day. Visitors can also hop on over to the Frog Pond Café and enjoy sandwiches, snacks, refreshments and frozen yogurt at very reasonable prices.
