On Sunday, July 3rd ZUMIX kicks off the summer with the annual Seaport Festival in East Boston's waterfront Piers Park from 3-6 pm. The theme of this years Festival is Unity and Togetherness! We welcome families and friends to enjoy an afternoon of music, games, prizes and fun activities for children and adults. Live music will feature East Boston's legendary Smokin' Joe and the Henchmen, a classic rock and soul band devoted to bringing audiences upbeat music from the 1960's and 70's. ZUMIX Jazz Allstars will also play a set to get the Festival started. The Seaport Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate Unity and Togetherness, Independence Day, and summer fun! It’ll also start up ZUMIX's Summer Concert Series bringing diverse musical styles and performances to East Boston's Piers and Bremen Parks every Tuesday and Sunday throughout the summer. The Seaport Festival is made possible by the Boston Cultural Council, East Boston Foundation, Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, Massport, and Piers PAC Committee.
