    MFA French Film Festival

    View the best of contemporary French Film at the MFA's 16th Annual Boston French Film Festival featuring your favorite French stars like Mathieu Amalric, Isabelle Carré, Gérard Depardieu, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jean-Luc Godard, Isabelle Huppert, Sandrine Kiberlain, Fabrice Luchini, Yolande Moreau, Benoît Poelvoorde, Léa Seydoux, and Kristin Scott Thomas.

    Special guests: Director Philippe Le Guay, actress Josiane Balasko, and director Jean-Pierre Améris. On July 7th an opening night reception in Bravo precedes the screening.

    This year’s festival also includes our first Video Art Program with artists Valérie Mréjen, Kader Attia, Elisa Pône, Clément Cogitore, Orlan Roy, Cyprien Gaillard, and Neïl Beloufa. Don't miss French cabaret jazz singer Annie Royer and Boston's C'est Si Bon perform classics from Edith Piaf to Jacques Prévert as part of the Elaine and Jerome Rosenfeld Concerts in the Courtyard on July 13, 7:30 pm. Unless otherwise noted, all films are presented in 35mm, were produced in France, and are in French with English subtitles.
