Rory Block is known as one of the greatest blues guitars players of her time - winner of four WC Handy Awards, her raw and firey style is passed down by such masters as Son House, Mississippi Fred McDowell and the mystical Robert Johnson. Bonnie Raitt cites Rory Block as a 'great inspiration' whether delivering nerve tingling self-penned songs or unshaven, authentic, smoking versions of classic blues.
