A rare western Massachusetts appearance by one of the pivotal bands of the klezmer revival. The Klezmer Conservatory Band has toured internationally since 1980, collaborating with such artists as Robin Williams, Joel Grey, Itzhak Perlman, Claire Barry, and Le Boutine Souriante. They bring their high-energy brand of Klezmer and Yiddish music to the Book Center in a new program featuring extraordinary vocalist and trumpet virtuoso Susan Watts.
