In an unnamed totalitarian state, a young writer becomes the subject of a police investigation when a series of child-murders, strangely reminiscent of his dark stories, begin to occur. As shocking truths are revealed throughout the investigation, the very idea of art and writing is brought center-stage, asking the audience to recognize a reality that can only be captured by fiction itself. This award-winning play by Martin McDonagh has been lauded as a "blindingly bright black comedy" (The New York Times), capturing both the brutal and tender nature of art. This play is all at once hysterically funny, engrossingly dark, and beautifully theatrical, and leaves the audience with an energy that can only come from a truly exciting night of drama.

This production is for mature audiences 15+. It contains violent content and language.
