REAGLE MUSIC THEATRE IS ALIVE WITH “THE SOUND OF MUSIC”

Thrill to one of the most inspiring true stories ever set to music as Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston concludes its 43rd consecutive summer season with the most popular musical of all time, “The Sound of Music.” This final and most famous Broadway collaboration of Rodgers and Hammerstein is a perennial family favorite that continues to delight audiences worldwide.

Featuring stage and screen star Patrick Cassidy as Captain von Trapp and Broadway leading lady Sarah Pfisterer as Maria, “The Sound of Music” returns to Reagle Music Theatre as the #1 requested show in the company’s history.

Panoramic sets, a full live orchestra, and a cast of 45 – including seven terrifically talented young local actors as the delightful but mischievous Von Trapp children – bring the famous story of the Von Trapp Family Singers to life in glorious sight and sound. Experience all the beauty, romance, danger, and drama of this timeless classic as unshakable love and faith enable this remarkable family to leave their Nazi-occupied Austrian homeland for an uncertain new world.

    Songs include:

    The Sound of Music
    My Favorite Things
    Climb Every Mountain
    Do, Re, Mi
    Edelweiss
    Sixteen, Going on Seventeen
    So Long, Farewell

Reagle Music Theatre audiences have voted “The Sound of Music” one of their all-time favorite things. Come see why August 5-14!

As always, Reagle Players did a wonderful job with this summer musical. Great acting, singing, choreography, sets, costumes, etc. My whole family loved it (including 6 & 3-year-old daughters).
